Opal Inlay Ring - Single Chanel
Many cultures have credited opal with supernatural origins and powers.
Arabic legends say it falls from the heavens in flashes of lightning.
In ancient Rome, this gem symbolized love and hope.
The ancient Greeks believed opals gave their owners the gift of prophecy and guarded them from disease.
Europeans have long considered the gem a symbol of hope, purity, and truth.
Synthetic Opal is a polymer impregnated Opal that’s created using gemstone synthesis technology to grow the Opal in a laboratory. This special year-long growing process eliminates the brittleness of natural Opal that can lead to cracking and yellowing. In addition, the vibrancy and shimmering prism appearance makes it superior, in many ways, to natural Opal.
Each ring is handcrafted by placing the crushed opal into the ring in increments to allow for control in placement and concentration, to get the most amount of opal and flash in each ring. Sometimes larger pieces of opal are used to allow for the use of glow powers and other colored powders.
Rings are available in Stainless Steel, Silver, Tungsten, and Ceramic. Our ceramic rings are extremely durable. So durable in fact, that specialized tools as hard as a diamond are required to even scratch it, making it perfect for everyday wear!
Please note: Different color backgrounds will make the opal appear a different color. Lighter colors will appear darker on a black ring.
Ring Care
Ring Care:
These rings are very durable. However, DO NOT wear when using harsh and abrasive cleaning chemicals, or solvent based materials (nail polish remover, acetone, lacquer thinner, etc.) or in swimming pools.
Steriling Silver is a softer metal and will pick up scratches easier. A Jeweler can usually buff out some scratches, but some deeper ones may remain.Note to Buyer
We do buy our opal and ring cores from suppliers. We do our best to have materials in stock and if for any reason we do not we will communicate with you.
Processing time from order to ship date can varry. We will do our best to get items out sooner but it’s not a guarantee.
Returns
It is important to know your ring size. If you do not know your ring size, please visit your nearest jewelry store for sizing.
If the ring does not fit and needs to be adjusted, a new ring will need to be made.
If you are unsatisfied with the color of the opal and background combination, we can work with you to get a new ring made.
If a new ring is desired the cost will be 50% of the original purchase price and I ask that the original be sent back (buyers expense).
